Christmas Carols at Putnam Ridge Nursing Home

Many of the Catholic Daughters of American  Our Lady Of The Lake Court #2585 from Sacred Heart Church visited Putnam Ridge Nursing Home on Sunday, December 17th to sing Christmas carols and bring some holiday cheer to the residents.
“It was an awesome event,” explained Tina Pennacchia, “The patients and staff really enjoyed the singers and an adorable surprise guest:  Rudolph showed up who really made everyone laugh.”

The Catholic Daughters of the Americas is one of the oldest and largest organizations of Catholic women in the Americas. They donate to charities, administer scholarship programs and strive “to be helping hands where there is pain, poverty, sorrow or sickness.”  The CDA motto is “Unity and Charity.” Catholic Daughter women enjoy each other’s company at meetings and work hard for their parishes and communities.
