For many of us, July marks the halfway point of summer vacation and soon preparations for returning to school will begin. Getting a vision exam is a part of that process. The Vision Council of America notes that 12.2 million Americans require some sort of vision correction but don’t use any. Nearly 50% of parents with children under 12 have never taken their children to an eye care professional.
Eye health and eye safety are huge factors in our quality of life. Most ophthalmologists and optometrists would agree that no symptoms of vision problems do not mean there are no problems! Practicing good eye care means regular eye checks!
